Hello! My name is Ansy John.  I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP- BC). Additionally, I hold a doctoral degree in clinical practice and a board certification in family practice. I specialize in managing the mental health needs of children, teens, and adults. Over the years, I have worked in many outpatient mental health settings and am passionate about helping patients with various mental health conditions. In my years of experience, I have become skilled in applying clinical knowledge to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals or families with mental health conditions. I aim to identify the possible risk factors for such conditions across the lifespan and prioritize prevention and management strategies within therapeutic treatments. My approach to treating patients involves an integration of medicine and psychotherapy to create a holistic standard of care.

By creating a safe environment, I have developed a comfortable space for patients to express themselves, which has facilitated the establishment of rapport with them and their families. I am committed to advocating for my patients and making mental health resources and care accessible to everyone. I aspire to provide the best possible care for my patients by implementing evidence-based strategies blended with my vast clinical experience.
